Sherman Library & Gardens’ “Soiree of the Summer” is being held August 29, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at its legendary location in Corona del Mar. The event will feature live music, delicious food and artists in the garden painting and selling their art. Wear your favorite garden party ensemble and enter the garden party contest. There is also a silent auction and raffle as well. If you already purchased your ticket to the Newport Beach VIRTUAL Garden Tour on May 9, your admission to this party is complimentary. All others, it is $50 for Members and $60 for Non-Members. The party will take place with creative and cautious physical distancing practices throughout the Gardens. Pssst….Don’t miss the “Sculptura Botanica” exhibit by Dustin Gimbel, on view through September 15. The plant-inspired ceramic sculptures were created exclusively by Gimbel for Sherman Gardens.
