A garden party at Sherman Library and Gardens was the setting for The Hutchins Consorts’ “Tiptoe Through the Tulips” benefit. The acoustically matched octet of violins, designed and crafted by the late Dr. Carleen Hutchins, performed a program of floral selections led by its Founder/Artistic Director Joe McNalley. Quincy Whitney, author of a defining biography of Hutchins, was the honorary chair. Photography Ann Chatillon
