Olive Crest Orange County

Olive Crest Orange County is hosting its Second Annual Wine Women & Shoes fundraiser via a live broadcast scheduled for July 11 at 2:00 p.m. The virtual event will open July 1 with silent auction bidding, a virtual marketplace open for shopping, and opportunities to purchase tickets to win the Key to the Closet (valued at $8,000 to $10,000) and the Key to the Cellar (30+ bottles of premium wines and a Napa Valley tasting tour). Can also enter the Best in Shoe Contest. The live broadcast will feature three tempting live auction items with auctioneer Zack Krone officiating, and actress Lizz Clark will announce the opportunity prize and shoe contest winners.

High Hopes Head Injury Program brings the 22nd Annual Eric Marienthal & Friends Concert live streaming from Spaghettini Grill & Jazz Lounge in Seal Beach. Hershey Felder’s “Beethoven,” a Play with Music

Laguna Playhouse

The live-streamed performance, benefiting Laguna Playhouse, features Hershey Felder as Beethoven performing some of the composer’s greatest works and using Felder’s text. It is based on the stage play directed by Joel Zwick. Viewing price is $55 per household for viewing on Smart TV, computer, smartphone and tablet. Once purchase is confirmed, you will receive confirmation and a viewing link on “how to watch” step-by-step instructions. Viewing will be available for an additional 72 hours post live performance. “Painting My Story” Workshop

Art & Creativity for Healing

Art & Creativity for Healing is hosting a live online workshop. Participants will experience the Art4Healing method in a fun and interactive virtual setting. The ”Painting My Story” workshop is conducted by a certified facilitator leading participants through a series of prompts as they respond by painting abstractly with acrylic colors on canvas. The method provides an outlet for emotions by associating a color with a feeling and each participant will create three unique paintings. Cost is $49 (plus supplies) and all proceeds support the nonprofit’s Healing Art Box Program for underprivileged youth. Visit Art4Healing.org/live

Join Meals on Wheels Orange County for the virtual premiere of “Step Up to the Plate,” a documentary about our community in action. Be a part of the celebration as community efforts are recognized to serve the needs of hungry, at-risk seniors. Segerstrom Center for the Arts While the Center’s theaters are dark, Segerstrom Center is alive and well and dancing on Center at Home, a special spot on its website where everyone can find entertaining and educational videos perfect for stay-at-home fun. There are ballet classes for all ages and levels, Bollywood, Island Dance and a look back at the world premiere of American Ballet Theatre’s Of Love and Rage.
